This place has DRAMATICALLY shifted in Quality since when it first opened, my wife and I used to come here to pick up what we couldn’t get delivered in our orders from Stop & Shop we don’t normally shop here primarily for our orders because it is very pricey compared to all the others and we usually didn’t mind because the quality in the beginning was outstanding. The meat was fresh looking the produced was vibrant. The store was very clean. We just visited this past weekend and the quality of everything went down hill our first issue as we were picking out potatoes and almost every single one of the potatoes that we looked at were already growing ears We managed to get two That weren’t we then shifted our attention to the onions, and as we were shifting through, we noticed that a handful of them had mold on them. We brought this to the cashiers attention and suggested that they have someone go and check it out, but they seemed like they could not be bothered. Shop here at your own risk maybe this review will reach management and they’ll actually do something about it but if you do elect to shop here, make sure you check all of your food so you don’t get sick

I live in elmont and make special trips to this market for my baking goods. They're absolutely 💯 one of the best of in store baking especially cakes etc. You won't be disappointed 😋 😉 Sorry I couldn't resist not eating while writing 😅

Cherry Valley Marketplace is excellent. The staff is very friendly, they speak both English and Spanish, and are always helpful. Great variety of products, well-stocked grocery, fresh produce, an amazing deli, and a delicious bakery. Highly recommended!

I’ve passed by Cherry Valley Marketplace in West Hempstead many times while on business trips to the nearby UPS store, dropping off examination materials - and I finally decided to stop in and check it out. I’m glad I did! The supermarket looks very attractive from the outside, and inside it’s just as nice - clean, well-organized, and clearly managed with care. There are clear signs everywhere, and I really liked the international touch with aisles labeled by countries and their flags. They have just about everything: fresh fruits and vegetables, coffee and beans from around the world (they’ll even grind them for you), a great bakery, a deli section full of prepared foods, salads, soups, and second dishes, and what not. I picked up some grapes at a very reasonable price and tried the deli - chicken quesadillas and crab meat in a small container - both were fresh and delicious. The store also has a wine section, cocktail mixes, a small plant area with some exotic plants, greeting cards, and fresh-cut flowers. It’s a very full store - honestly feels a bit like a “fish in a can” because there’s so much packed into the space - but you can truly find almost anything you’re looking for.
